​Debra Goodchild  ~ Family Therapist and Counsellor

Debra is an experienced therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals, children, couples, and families. 

​

She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor on the PACFA National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors.

 

She is an accredited Triple P Parenting Provider for all levels including adolescents and an experienced group facilitator to parent, community groups, health, education and childcare professionals.

 

Debra has over 30 years experience in the Mackay /Moranbah region within rural mining communities, schools, hospital, community, child health and volunteer work sectors.

 

Prior to moving into private practice, Debra worked in the following areas:-

• Senior Family Therapist -  Child Youth and Family Health Unit - Mackay Hospital and Health Service

• Professional Counsellor – Moranbah Community Health - servicing Moranbah, Glenden and Nebo

• Counsellor and Trainer - Australian Breastfeeding Association

• Primary School Teacher - Education Queensland
